Showroom Manager
 
Eichler Designs Kitchen & Bath is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented individual to join our team as Showroom Manager for our Menlo Park Showroom. The Showroom Manager is responsible for all aspects of financial performance in his/her showroom including sales, margins and expenses. Responsibilities also include: maintaining showroom sales, developing client relationships and building a repeat client base. The Showroom Manager directs the efforts of local salespeople, as well as developing and maintaining his/her own sales accounts.
 
Prior experience in the kitchen and bath industry is required.  A background in retail sales, interior design or architectural design is helpful. A College degree in architecture and interior design is very desirable. A need to focus on details, follow-up with any organization is extremely critical. Previous managerial experience is a must.
 
Responsibilities
•    Responsible for overall operational integrity of the store, including achievement of budgeted goals. Ensure audit and Policy & Procedure compliance on a daily basis while controlling overall store expenses. Ensure that all assigned employees are trained and capable of performing their assigned duties.
•    Responsible for achieving budgeted sales, margins and managing all expenses within predetermined budget criteria.
•    Responsible for ensuring all relevant corporate merchandising standards are maintained on a daily basis to include but not limited to price integrity, merchandise displays, product literature and housekeeping. Responsible for all store functions, activities and store employees. Ensures that client service, merchandising, operational, safety and security standards are met.  Responsible for the overall supervision, training and mentoring of all assigned personnel.
•    Ensure current product information/pricing is maintained.
•    Responsible for all receiving, stocking and delivery functions of the store while managing assigned employees
•    Responsible for ensuring timely, efficient delivery by scheduling, routing and management of delivery methods where necessary.
•    Protect clients, employees and company assets by establishing controls that minimize inventory shrink and losses.
•    Provide our clients with unsurpassed service, expertise, and convenience throughout the sales and completion process.
•    Lead the team to the success of special sales initiatives and promotional programs.
•    Grow the business by maximizing every selling opportunity and by participating in lead generating activities.
•    Generate repeat and referral business through exceptional client service.
•    Create a positive workplace environment in which our associates are motivated to develop professionally and one in which they successfully achieve goals.
•    Achieve business growth objectives, and ensure standards of operations are met on a daily basis.
 
Requirements
•    Excellent "relationship selling/client focused" sales abilities.
•    Solution oriented with exceptional follow through.
•    Good basic math skills, (including ability to take accurate measurements).
•    Strong Microsoft Office applications skills.
•    Detail and multi-task oriented, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a dynamic environment.  
•    Sales experience within interior sales, home decor, home furnishings/accessories, interior design, or related field. (Design School background may be considered in combination with practical experience.)
•    A minimum of five years recent experience successfully leading a developing a winning sales team.
•    Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends & evenings.
